Shikshan Ane Samaj Kalyan Kendra initiated its engagement with rural communities in 2001 through watershed development programs, reaching villages such as Balanivav, Lunsapur, and Bhattvadar. In 2010, with the support of NABARD, Village Development Plan initiatives were implemented in Vadhera, Balana, Kadiyali, Rohisa, and nearby villages. The team of Hariraj Charitable Trust actively worked in the Jafarabad block to establish Biodiversity Committees in 10 villages and developed Public Biodiversity Registers in 2 villages. Over the years, both organizations maintained close and continuous engagement with the local communities. Through regular dialogue, exposure visits, training programs, and meetings, farmers in the region became increasingly aware of the importance of securing fair prices for their agricultural produce. This collective realization led to the formation of “Jafrabad Agriculture Producer Company Limited.” With the support of NABARD and Hariraj Charitable Trust, the company was initially promoted by 10 farmer members and formally registered under the Companies Act, 2013 on 20th January 2016 (Registration No. U01132GJ2016PTC085768). The company has since initiated its commercial operations with financial and educational support from Shikshan Ane Samaj Kalyan Kendra and CSPC. Today, it serves as a strong platform for farmers, enabling better market access, fair pricing, quality inputs, and improved agricultural practices. Our mission is to empower small and marginal farmers, enhance their income, and promote sustainable rural development through collective action.
